A  new  band brought  together by two  former members of acclaimed Celtic rockers Wolfstone

are to rerform at the Grange loft in may. The Ivan Drever Band can best be described

as ‘rock meets folk ’, and is the brainchild of Ivan Drever and Andy Murray. Orcadian front

man  – and Speyfest veteran  – Ivan is on vocals and guitar, while Andy is on electric guitar and

vocals. Completing the line-uup are Finlay Wells of Scottish band The  Shoes  on bass, and  Iain

Coates on drums. A series of gigs have been lined up to promote  the release of the band ’s debut five-track EP in

May, including date at the loft on friday, may 22. Tickets are priced £7in advance or £9on the  door.
